王者降臨！2011腳位之第2代Intel® Core™ i7 處理器系列正式登場！

2011腳位Sandy Bridge-E處理器登場
根據 Intel 的桌上型處理器藍圖，在今年第四季將會有代號為 Sandy Bridge-E的處理器出現。在今年11月15日，2011腳位的第2代Intel® Core™ i7處理器系列正式問世。要注意的是，雖然其名稱為第2代Intel® Core™ i7處理器系列，但其與現行的1155腳位的第2代Intel® Core™ 處理器系列是屬於不同的產品線。2011腳位的第2代Intel® Core™ i7處理器系列主要是取代上代架構的1366腳位處理器。這也意味著極致型處理器的寶座也將改朝換代，王者寶座將由2011腳位的Intel® Core™ i7處理器系列繼承。

Intel® Core™ i7處理器系列發展史
從下圖可得知Intel® Core™ i7處理器系列的進化歷程。從最早的四核心八執行緒，進步到現今的六核心十二執行緒，快取記憶體也從最早的8MB提升至15MB。其中最大的突破，莫過於2011腳位的第2代Intel® Core™ i7處理器系列，首度支援四通道DDR3-1600MHz記憶體。記憶體頻寬的增加，有效的增加了電腦運算速度。

Intel® Core™ i7-3960X為極致版處理器，擁有六核心十二執行緒，腳位為LGA2011。預設時脈3.3GHz，透過Intel® 渦輪加速技術2.0最高可提升至3.9GHz，且擁有15M的Intel® 智慧型快取記憶體。不同於上代極致版處理器， Intel® Core™ i7-3960X加入了AVX及AES指令集。此外，更支援四通道DDR3-1600MHz記憶體，記憶體頻寬效能再度提升！

就如前面所說的，既然全新2011腳位Intel® Core™ i7處理器屬於高端產品，且擁有無可比擬的強大規格，那麼想當然爾也擁有超強的效能表現。與1366腳位的Intel® Core™ i7-990X極致版處理器相比，2011腳位的Intel® Core™ i7-3960X極致版處理器的效能有明顯的提高。在遊戲方面，其效能增進34%，在影片編輯方面則增進了20%，在3D繪圖渲染方面則有著14%的效能提升。另外，有賴於其原生支援四通道DDR3-1600MHz記憶體，因此記憶體頻寬的提升，間接大幅提升記憶體效能，效能的超越達到了102%。
